LIFX Candle Colour

The LIFX Candle Colour is the colour version of the LIFX candle bulb. It fits the same chandeliers, wall lights and small pendants, and adds the full LIFX colour range and tunable white.

What works in Apple Home

• Turn the light on and off, and set brightness, colour and white temperature.
• Group it into rooms and zones alongside the rest of your lighting.
• Use it in scenes and automations, and control it with Siri.

Connectivity

LIFX bulbs join your Wi-Fi network directly. There is no bridge to buy, no hub to power and no spare Ethernet port to find, which is the main practical difference between LIFX and bridge-based systems such as Philips Hue. Apple Home needs a HomePod or an Apple TV in the house for remote access and automations.

Before you buy

LIFX has sold candle bulbs both as a single colour zone and as a multi-zone bulb that shows several colours at once along its length. If a colour gradient inside the bulb is the reason you are buying, check the zone count on the specific listing rather than assuming it, because the naming has not been consistent across generations and markets.

Check the cap size as well: candle fittings use E12, E14 or E27 depending on the market and the fitting.
