Privacy

Short version: this site sets no cookies, counts page views with cookieless analytics, and there is nothing here to consent to.

Cookies

HomeKit Directory does not set any cookies. It does not use local storage, session storage, or any other method of storing data on your device. That is why you will not see a cookie consent banner — there is nothing to ask you about.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It loads a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com that reports which page was viewed, the referring site, the browser, the country and page load timings. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so there is no consent to ask for. The data is processed by Cloudflare under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Fonts and third-party requests

Fonts are served from this site rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page does not send your IP address to Google. The analytics script above is the only third-party request a page makes.

Some links to products are Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you follow one of these links, Amazon may set cookies and process your data under Amazon’s own privacy notice — that happens on Amazon’s site, not this one, and only if you choose to click through. Using an affiliate link never costs you more, and it does not affect whether a product is listed here or what is said about it.

Hosting and click log

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare handles every request to deliver the page and protect the site, which means it processes your IP address; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

When you follow an Amazon link, it passes through this site first (a /go/ address) so that clicks can be counted. Each click records the time, the link, the page you came from, your browser’s user agent, your network provider and your country. Your IP address is not stored. The record is used only to see which pages lead to purchases, and is not shared with anyone.
